Volunteer Opportunities:
A position is open for the Pierce County Conservation Futures Citizens' Advisory Board, At Large– Must live in unincorporated* Pierce County.
Conservation Futures is an open space grant program that helps buy natural lands, farms, urban green spaces, forests, and trails in Pierce County. The CAB (Citizens' Advisory Board) is a collaborative team of 18 members from different parts of Pierce County. Together, they provide valuable advice to the County Council on matters related to Conservation Futures purchases.

Family Promise is ahead of its strategic goals to house the homeless with school age children. Their service model of making intensive Case Management available from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, at the location of the family, using technology to speed the housing process, seems to be the key to solving family homelessness.
